1.0.1 -> By using OCPT services, you acknowledge that you may submit reports anonymously. OCPT will not require you to disclose your identity unless doing so is necessary for safeguarding, legal compliance, or clarification of a submitted concern.
1.0.2 -> OCPT is a civilian organisation and is not a government or law enforcement agency. As such, OCPT is not obligated to prioritise or action any report and does not guarantee investigative outcomes, referrals, or engagement with external agencies.
1.0.3 -> OCPT reserves the right to discontinue or close a case where the information provided does not indicate a credible safeguarding concern, legal risk, or ongoing threat. This decision is based on available information and does not imply a judgment of innocence or guilt.
1.0.4 -> OCPT may review publicly accessible online information relating to individuals where there is a credible safeguarding concern, even if a formal report has not been submitted. This activity is limited to lawful Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and does not involve hacking, intrusive monitoring, illegal data gathering, or accessing private accounts.
1.0.5 -> OCPT will not assist, facilitate, encourage, or endorse acts of harm, digital retaliation, harassment, doxxing, extortion, hacking, malware deployment, RAT usage, or any activity intended to cause damage to another individual, organisation, or system.

Individuals who are the subject of recorded information may submit a Subject Access Request (SAR) to obtain a copy of the personal data held about them, subject to legal exemptions and safeguarding considerations. Instructions for submitting a SAR are available on the SAR section of the website.
